Look around the calendar a little before adding any information and you will get a feel for it.

To keep things simple there are no passwords or user IDs. Please don't change or delete info that you did not enter. Please do not overload the calendar with information. The more people that have the site location the more likely we are to have problems so use discretion.

The site might be slow at peak times. If this turns out to be a big hurdle please let me know and we will look for another calendar location.

Under the calendar are FORWARD and BACKWARD buttons for changing a month at a time. Or you can enter a month and hit GO. All the info entered for that month is in the boxes on the right of the calendar.

To add a birthday or anniversary to the calendar hit the ADD EVENT button or even easier is to click on the date on the calendar that you want to enter information for. After you click on the date the ADD EVENT page will open. In the big empty field at the top of the page enter: Name and event on line 1, hit enter, then put the original date on line two (actually birthdate or wedding date). Try to use a format similar to the rest of the listings. EXAMPLE:
$cott Ambrose Reilly Birthday 8/16/62

The proper date you are entering information for should be at the top of the page. (If you did not click through the calendar then be sure the Event Date underneath the field is on the proper date.) Be sure you are adding the event for 1999 so it enters it for this year and every year following.

If you hit the ADD EVENT button now it will add the info to the calendar BUT will only add it for one year. To make it put the info on the calendar automatically every year move down to the Optional Information area (lots of this info is for more elaborate scheduling and not needed to record yearly events). Mark the REPEAT THIS EVENT EVERY: "YEAR" box.

Then you have to mark the UNTIL box to set the number of years you want the event kept on the calendar (a nuisance feature, sorry) or it won't let you add the event. After the UNTIL box change the year to 2010 so it will automatically keep the yearly event on the calendar until 2010. If you think you won't be celebrating your birthday in 2010 you can always set it for an earlier year.

Then hit the ADD EVENT button and your info should be added to the calendar for all to see. If you make a mistake or put something in a wrong date there are EDIT and DELETE buttons in the information box.

You may have to hit the REFRESH button on your browser to see any new information added by you or anyone else since the last time you looked at the calendar. Your computer may automatically cache your pages and give you whatever information was on the page last time you visited.

If you have any questions or problems you can e-mail me at bullethead@bullethead.com or just post on the message board.

If this is all too difficult for you e-mail me the Birthday/Anniversary information and I will add it. Or ask anyone under thirty to help you.
